With the adoption of the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data, Turkey has entered a new period. With the mentioned Law, Turkish citizens were granted certain rights against natural and legal persons defined as accountable person for data protections and some liabilities were brought to these parties.

These obligations mainly concern the companies' IT and human resources departments.

In this new period, PSL Law provides the following services to its clients with the necessary legal assistance during the adaptation process:

• determining and analysing the obligations of the clients under Protection of Personal Data Law,
• providing legal assistance for the necessary alignment of the IT departments and in the process of harmonization of the existing data recordings with the Protection of Personal Data Law and
• preparing and revising the contracts that our clients need to conclude with their customers or business partners within the scope of Protection of Personal Data Law.
